A photographic journey without pictures.

I have been taking photographs for a long time. My first camera was a Canon Sure Shot 105 35mm film camera. This little point and shoot went everywhere with me. I shot vacations, parties and even a couple weddings (as a guest only). People would remark at the quality of my photos, a good friend even said my photo's were as good and in some cases better then the professional ones taken at her wedding.

When I made the reluctant jump to digital a new world of photography opened. I received a Canon Powershot S2 as a wedding gift in 2005. I stepping stone towards a fully manual camera. I took thousands of pictures with this camera. I quickly found myself limited though, out growing the focal lengths and false aperture values I longed for a real DSLR.

Fast forward to Christmas 2008. My wonderful husband bought me a Canon Rebel XSi with a kit lense, camera bag, 4gigs memory and a uv filter. Now photography wasn't just point and shoot, it involved settings, exposure, ISO, DOF, and I no longer took a picture, I made it.

I started taking photographs of babies, and giving them away to parents. Again they were praised and I was encouraged to turn my hobby into a business. So, here I am.

Can I take your picture?
