Goals

I hope that with January out of the way, the rest of the year will shape up nicely.

First goal: I have become a member of Helping Hearts. An organization that does similar things to the non-profit I wanted to start (You can still vote here). They are an established cross Canada organization that provides free photography to families with children who are disabled or terminally ill. My goal in regards to this is get media coverage and help expand in our area. If you know anyone who has children that are disabled or ill and would like a free session (possibly done by me!) please direct them to the link above to arrange a session. I would like to get the local papers involved but need clients first.

Second goal: Is to book 10 weddings. This month showed some promise but I am still hovering around the 3 mark. Not bad, still lots of time in the year to fill that goal.

Third goal: I would like 1000 fans on my facebook page by the end of the year. I'm hovering around 230, so it's a big leap. I am working on some give-aways that will hopefully raise my numbers.

Fourth goal: I would like to revamp my online shop. I've had a bit of interest in prints and calendars.

Fifth goal: Spend more time with my off camera flash and maybe upgrade my lighting kit. Always new toys to acquire in the photography world.

Sixth goal: Put some time into starting photography lessons.
